Overview This qualification provides learners with an excellent foundation for a career in a range of organisations. It is designed to ensure each learner is business ready — a confident, independent thinker with detailed knowledge of Information Technology, equipped with the skills to adapt rapidly to change. The Level 5 content builds on Level 4 with a focus on software engineering, database systems, advanced systems analysis, management information systems and IT project management.

Progression and Career Outcomes Progression to the OTHM Level 6 Diploma in Information Technology or direct entry to the final year of a UK Bachelor’s degree.
