About Course

Overview This IOSH-accredited diploma is designed for learners who have, or are developing into, senior roles with responsibility for managing health and safety policy and practice. It provides a comprehensive and advanced understanding of OHS management across seven units, covering policy, practice, risk management, safety culture, workplace environment, law and practitioner development. Individuals successfully completing this diploma will be eligible to apply for Graduate (GradIOSH) membership of IOSH.

Total Course Duration

  • 4 to 6 Months (Full Time / Flexible delivery available)
  • Hours: 220 Guided Learning Hours
  • Total Qualification Time: 600 hours

Total 60 credits

Assessment All units are internally assessed by the centre and externally verified by OTHM. Assessment is via assignment and portfolio of evidence. No exams.

  • Learners must attend all scheduled sessions or engage fully with online learning materials
  • All assignments must be submitted by the deadlines provided
  • Learners must have access to a computer or device with internet connection
  • Academic integrity must be maintained at all times
  • Learners must engage with the recommended reading and resources provided

Progression and Career Outcomes Progression to the OTHM Level 7 Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety Management or direct entry into relevant Master’s degree programmes. GradIOSH membership eligible on completion, with pathway to Chartered membership (CMIOSH) via IOSH IPD process. Career roles include health and safety manager, OHS consultant, risk and compliance manager, and safety director.
