About Course
Overview This Masters-level qualification is aimed at managers responsible for developing and applying health and safety procedures on a day-to-day basis and looking to enhance their knowledge and strategic capability. It develops occupational health and safety management skills for those with the authority and personal attributes to translate organisational strategy into effective operational performance, reflecting current practice in the field. Individuals successfully completing this diploma will be eligible to apply for Certified (CertIOSH) membership of IOSH.

Assessment All units are internally assessed by the centre and externally verified by OTHM. Assessment is via assignment and portfolio of evidence. No exams.

- Learners must have access to a computer or device with internet connection
- Academic integrity must be maintained at all times
- Learners must engage with the recommended reading and resources provided
Progression and Career Outcomes Progression to a Master’s top-up with advanced standing at UK universities. Learners must complete a 60-credit dissertation with a university partner to achieve a full Master’s award. CertIOSH membership eligible on completion, with pathway to Chartered membership (CMIOSH). Career roles include head of health and safety, OHS director, risk management director, sustainability and safety lead and occupational health consultant.
