Overview This qualification provides learners with a specialist programme of study offering depth of knowledge and understanding of key aspects within the field of Psychology. The Level 4 units introduce relevant foundational topics including historical and contemporary approaches to psychology, biopsychology, social and developmental psychology, attachment theories, human memory processes and research methods. Successful completion provides a well-rounded knowledge of psychology applicable to further study and a wide range of careers.

Progression and Career Outcomes Progression to the OTHM Level 5 Diploma in Psychology or direct entry to Year 2 of a UK BSc Psychology degree. Career entry opportunities include assistant psychologist, mental health support worker, HR assistant, education support role, police liaison officer and social services assistant.
