Overview This qualification is designed to enable registered healthcare professionals to provide the highest standards of patient and client care during all stages of delivering cosmetic and aesthetic injectable therapies. Learners acquire the knowledge, skills and competence to administer injectable treatments safely and appropriately, adhering to the principle of ‘do no harm’ and promoting public health at all times. This Certificate provides a focused introduction to injectable aesthetics and is a stepping stone to the full Level 7 Diploma.

Module Structure

Assessment All units are internally assessed by the centre and externally verified by OTHM. Assessment includes both written and competency-based evidence. Centres must meet JCCP premises standards and trainers must hold JCCP-required qualifications.

Progression and Career Outcomes Progression to the OTHM Level 7 Diploma in Clinical Aesthetic Injectable Therapies. Following completion of the Diploma, learners may progress to a Master’s top-up with advanced standing. Career paths include aesthetic doctor, aesthetic dentist, aesthetic nurse practitioner and cosmetic clinic director.
