About Course
Overview This Level 5 qualification provides learners with the opportunity to develop knowledge and understanding of the fundamentals of reflexology and advance their conceptual and practical knowledge for clinical and integrated medicine contexts. Covering clinical reflexology, anatomy and physiology, developmental reflexology, pathology, stress management, human development, evidence-based practice and business skills, this eight-unit programme is equivalent in depth to Year 2 of an honours degree and prepares graduates for clinical and health settings.

Assessment All units are internally assessed by the centre and externally verified by OTHM. Assessment includes written assignments, observed practical assessments (minimum 24 hours) and case study treatments (minimum 140 hours of client case studies).
Requirements/Instructions
- Learners must attend all scheduled sessions and complete all required practical hours
- A minimum of 140 hours of client case study treatments must be documented and submitted
- A minimum of 24 hours of observed practice must be completed as part of assessment
- All assignments must be submitted by the deadlines provided
- Academic integrity must be maintained at all times
Progression and Career Outcomes Progression to relevant Bachelor’s degrees in Complementary Therapies at UK universities. Career opportunities include clinical reflexologist, complementary therapist in GP surgeries or hospices, health and wellbeing practitioner, wellness clinic director and reflexology educator.
