About Course
Overview The OTHM Level 4 Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice qualification develops learners’ understanding of theory and practice relating to their quality assurance role in education. It provides the knowledge that underpins the ability to work as an effective quality assurance practitioner, combining theoretical and practical knowledge in education to develop skills in effective performance, planning, accountability and professional development. Successful completion enables learners to gain or develop within an internal quality assurance role and to lead teams of IQA practitioners, as well as work in a variety of roles in education administration and management.

Assessment All units are internally assessed by the centre and externally verified by OTHM. Assessment is by written assignments and professional evidence. No exams.
Requirements/Instructions
- Learners must have access to a workplace or education setting where IQA activities can be observed and evidenced
- All assignments must be submitted by the deadlines provided
- Academic integrity must be maintained at all times
- A computer or device with internet access is required for online learners
Progression and Career Outcomes Progression into employment as an internal quality assurance practitioner or onto further OTHM qualifications. Career roles include internal quality assurer, internal verifier, assessment quality lead, education quality manager and training compliance officer.
