About Course

Overview The OTHM Level 4 Certificate in Leading the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice develops learners’ understanding of theory and practice relating to their quality assurance leadership role in education. It provides the knowledge that underpins the ability to work as an effective quality assurance practitioner and team leader, combining theoretical and practical knowledge in education to develop skills in effective performance, planning, accountability and professional development. Going beyond the Award level, this Certificate also develops the skills to plan, allocate and monitor work across a team of internal quality assurance practitioners. Successful completion enables learners to gain or develop within a senior internal quality assurance role and to lead, manage and develop teams of IQA practitioners across a range of education and training settings.

Assessment All units are internally assessed by the centre and externally verified by OTHM. Assessment is by written assignments and professional evidence from the workplace. No exams.

  • Learners must have access to a workplace or education setting where IQA leadership activities can be observed and evidenced
  • All assignments must be submitted by the deadlines provided
  • Academic integrity must be maintained at all times
  • A computer or device with internet access is required for online learners
