About Course

Overview This qualification enables learners to gain the practical and theoretical skills needed to provide reflexology treatments to the general public and to gain employment in the beauty and complementary therapy industry. Covering health and safety, anatomy and physiology, client consultation, reflexology theory and hands-on treatment delivery, it equips learners with the underpinning knowledge and skills required for employment or further study.

  • Up to 12 Months (Full Time or Part Time)
  • Hours: 250 Guided Learning Hours
  • Total Qualification Time: 370 hours

Assessment All units are internally assessed by the centre and externally verified by OTHM. Assessment includes written assignments, A&P Pack knowledge assessments completed under controlled conditions, and observed practical skill assessments.

Requirements/Instructions

  • Learners must attend all scheduled sessions including practical sessions
  • All assignments and A&P Packs must be completed by the required deadlines
  • Practical work must be completed in a Realistic Learning Environment meeting OTHM standards
  • Learners must have access to required equipment as specified by the centre
  • Academic integrity must be maintained at all times

Progression and Career Outcomes Progression to the OTHM Level 5 Diploma in Applied Reflexology for Integrated Medicine. Career opportunities include reflexologist, holistic therapist, complementary therapist and salon or spa practitioner.
