About Course

Overview This qualification gives learners the opportunity to develop knowledge and understanding of core legal principles and build foundational professional and research skills. Covering six core areas of law including contract, criminal, business and public law, it provides the underpinning knowledge of law contributing to preparation for the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE).

Assessment All units are internally assessed by the centre and externally verified by OTHM. Assessment is via assignment submission only. No exams.

Progression and Career Outcomes Progression to the OTHM Level 5 Diploma in Law or direct entry to Year 2 of a UK LLB degree. Career pathways include paralegal, legal researcher, compliance officer, legal executive and trainee solicitor.
