About Course

Overview This 240-credit qualification combines the content of the Level 4 and Level 5 Diploma in Information Technology into a single programme. Equivalent to the first two years of a UK Bachelor’s degree, it provides a comprehensive and accelerated pathway to direct entry into the final year of a UK degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.

Total Course Duration

  • 18 to 24 Months (Full Time)
  • Hours: 960 Guided Learning Hours
  • Total Qualification Time: 2400 hours

Module Structure Covers all 12 mandatory units from both the Level 4 and Level 5 Diploma in Information Technology for a combined total of 240 credits.

Assessment All units are internally assessed by the centre and externally verified by OTHM. Assessment is via assignment submission only. No exams.

Progression and Career Outcomes Direct entry to the final year of a UK Bachelor’s degree in IT or Computer Science at universities including Northumbria, Arden, Coventry, Sunderland and Staffordshire.
