About Course
Overview This Masters-level qualification equips learners with an in-depth understanding of contemporary Artificial Intelligence methodologies, practices and the evolving technological landscape. It explores both the theoretical underpinnings and practical applications of AI, providing expertise to engage in research, discussion and the development of AI systems across diverse domains. The curriculum covers foundational AI concepts including classical symbolic and statistical methods, and advances into deep learning, neural networks, intelligent agents, ethics, fairness, and AI’s role in sustainable development. Assessment All units are internally assessed by the centre and externally verified by OTHM. Assessment is via assignment submission only. No exams. Learners must have access to hardware or cloud-based software capable of running deep neural network inference, via Google Colab or Amazon Web Services (AWS).

- Learners must attend all scheduled sessions or engage fully with online learning materials
- All assignments must be submitted by the deadlines provided
- Learners must have access to a computer capable of running cloud-based AI tools (Google Colab or AWS)
- Python programming proficiency is required prior to enrolment
- Academic integrity must be maintained at all times; OTHM has issued specific guidance on the responsible use of AI in assessments
