About Course

Overview This Masters-level qualification provides tourism industry professionals with the specialist knowledge needed to advance their careers, and equips graduates entering the sector with the skills to manage complex business operations. The qualification provides a contemporary, critical and international programme supporting development as managers with a lifelong-learning orientation, enabling learners to analyse complex management problems and apply specialist skills informed by best practice and contemporary research.

Progression and Career Outcomes Progression to a Master’s top-up (MSc or MBA in Tourism/Hospitality) with advanced standing at UK universities. Learners must complete a 60-credit dissertation with a university partner to achieve a full Master’s award. Career pathways include chief executive of a destination management organisation, hotel chain director, international tourism policy adviser, VP of hospitality operations and tourism strategy consultant.
